Location great, attention to detail lacking

The location of this condo was perfect. Walking straight out to the beach and within a short drive to restaurants. Check in/out process was easy. If you tend to be a detail oriented person, this might not be the place to rent. The whole condo could use a coat of paint. The decor was hodge podge and random. Cracks and stains in the ceiling. No blankets on the beds just sheets.

House Needs Work

The property location is great. The property itself is not. There were several electrical issues (not plates on plugs leaving wires exposed, loose plugs, ceiling fan not attached to the ceiling). Bathroom was not clean (pubic hair on the floor at check in, shower would not drain). Outdoor furniture broken (couch on patio was falling apart, coffee was also broken). Dryer I believe was clogged; it took at least (2) drying cycles to dry (2) towels at a time.

Bare bones unit

Do not rent from Vacasa! The unit needs so much TLC. No blankets on the beds, lights flickering in kitchen, lights didn’t work in the bedroom, broken patio furniture (that was fun 🙄), broken rails on stairs, broken kitchen drawers that were falling out (apparently this is Vacasa’s calling card-2nd property I’ve stayed in from them that had this issue). I could literally go on and on but I’ll spare you. Just don’t choose this place mainly because it’s listed with Vacasa and they DO NOT maintain homes. The house would do better just turning over on its own and not having a rental company. It’s really a sad situation. The location is amazing and it’s a great view. It’s unfortunate that the house is in such poor shape. The pictures sure look nice though.

Not clean....

The amount of dust/dirt in the light fixtures was enough for me to clean the showers myself before I allowed my kids in their. The thick sticky dirt on top of the fridge at me and my husbands eye level was disgusting! Visible dusts/cobwebs on bathroom light fixtures...if you are paying for a cleaning service, it should be super cheap or get someone else! The rusted curtain rods and actively peeling paint from the ceiling was a perfect compliment to the broken sliding glass doors to outside balcony from the main living room! The doors were basically useless unless you were strong enough to pry them open and shut! When we arrived on first day, couldnt figure out why the master bedroom was so hot and NOT cooling off at all. After looking further, we noticed one of the sliding glass doors was completely off the track and about an inch open to the elements. My husband had to physically lift the door back onto the tracks to be able to close it. Getting ready for bed the first night when we turned all lights off except for a lamp, it shown on the back wall all the dust that was stuck to the walls in the room. One the second night, we were unable to watch tv in more than one room at a time, tv kept stating too many were watching/streaming direct tv...no other tv was on except the living room and was trying to tuen on the master room. Called the vacasa rep who in turn called the owners...they came by sometime the next day and fixed the problem...which lasted for 24 hours. After that, we were once again unable to watch tv in more than one room. My husband was highly irritated at this point and decided it was pointless to call again. Overall, disappointed in the house itself. You are basically paying for the LOCATION of the home, NOT the home itself. We read that the home needed updating in a review dated April 2022...we just assumed it would have been taken care of by now (end of august beginning of Sept 2022).

Worn but clean and comfortable

The property is in a great location, it needs a little TLC but virtually everything worked, and issues we had were quickly taken care of. It was a great vacation.

Great place overall

This place was a great place to stay. The house itself was very clean. The distance to the beach was a game changer. The manager and company was very friendly and helpful. There were a few things as to why it wasn’t 5 star overall. The first thing we had to do when we arrived was wash the sheets, because it seemed the beds were just made after the previous guest left and not cleaned. There was no gas grill as stated in the listing, but the neighbors were nice enough to let us use the charcoal one they had on their side. There was a coffee maker but the pot was missing. Then the microwave stopped working on the first morning there. These were all unfortunate things to happen, but the company and local manger was very quick and helpful to resolve most of these issues. One thing from experience and advise to anyone else renting houses is to check the AC/furnace filter when you get there. They seem to alway have to be changed. One last thing that was a little inconvenient was that all the tvs had cable boxes, but one one tv could use the cable service at a time. So if you are watching tv in the living room and kids want to watch something in their room the people in the living room would have to shut theirs off. Overall though we all were very pleased with our stay.

Spring Break break away

Loved the location!!! You walk right out your back door to the beach anytime. The view was fabulous. There were some things in the house that needed to be fixed. That is my only complaint and it is minor. It was the perfect trip to take my daughter and her friends on for their senior spring break! Thank you for sharing you property!
