BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: 2 -The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

Just what we ordered

We rented this unit because of its size (4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms), its view of the Gulf, and because it sounded more low key than some of the other mega condo complexes. We weren't disappointed on any aspect! Large condo with plenty of room to spread out, huge balcony, fantastic view, and little to no waiting for an elevator.

Lovely Place But Safety Concern

This location was wonderful, and the place was clean with a beautiful view. We booked our trip two months in advance and arrived a few days ahead of Hurricane Ida, which was just making news the day we checked in. We were there one night before we realized the storm was going to partially hit the area and as we were there with our young family and were concerned, we asked to leave &have a refund on the remainder of our trip. The host refused. My best friend was coming from Chicago and staying in the condo next door and that property manager offered her a full refund. She canceled her trip and stayed safe rather than drive through tornados and possible storm surges. After being told we would get no refund, we were asked to prepare for the storm and bring the outdoor furniture inside during our stay through the hurricane. We did this, as it was the right thing to do.... The furniture on the deck is nice, but our living room and bedroom were FULL of deck furniture and the government had told people to stay off the roads and there was a hurricane outside! So, here we were, 8 people, closed indoors with no ability to go outside because, well, there was a hurricane and the living space is filled with outdoor furniture. There was a state of emergency, across the road was completely flooded, people were encouraged to stay off the roads and here we were in a condo we'd spend thousands to stay at that if we left there would be no refund, but instead we're all there in the living room which is stacked with furniture. Also, the guard outside told us that we were not allowed to have the parking passes we'd paid for! We paid for to have parking passes for 3 cars and they told us that 1. We shouldn't have been charged for the additional parking passes and 2. The additional one wasn't valid and they asked us to park elsewhere. They went as far as saying we should ask for money back because the property manager was asking for money for something we shouldn't be paying extra for and we shouldn't have gotten three passes. I would say the place was clean, well maintained, and that the property manager was responsive. I just believe we should have been offered the opportunity to leave before a dangerous hurricane came with a refund or been partially refunded because of the circumstances. I also didn't like that one parking pass I purchased wasn't valid and that the security guards said we shouldn't have been charged for 2.

Family Vacation

This condo was perfect for our family of 8. Plenty of room for gathering and big enough for privacy when needed. On Saturday at 5:30 pm when we came in from the beach the AC was out. We called the office and they had someone there to repair in within 30 minutes!! Would definitely choose to stay in this location again.

We enjoyed our stay overall.

The accommodations were very good, overall. The dish washer was not repaired until Wednesday and it is still not working properly. The biggest complaint was the elevator being out of service much of the time. Seven floors to climb for seniors is too much. Also, the ice machine in the dry bar was not working.

Floors in condo didn’t seem clean when we arrived. We spilled water on tile in first hour when wiped up paper towel was black. There was someone else’s hair on carpet in several places. Otherwise it was good.

Roomy Condo in Great Location

4 adults and 3 teens stayed at the condo in July 2019. The condo is in a great location. Parking was plentiful. We never had to wait too long on an elevator. The condo has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, 3 being en-suite. The building is low density, so unlike some of the places just to the West, the beach was not crowded. You are within walking distance of numerous restaurants, the Gulf State Park, and a Surf Style shop (in case you need ice for your cooler or some beach gear). The kitchen was well equipped, including a toaster and blender, and we prepared breakfast and lunch daily. We spent all day on the beach, so we did not use the pool, but it looked nice. The balcony is large, and I enjoyed my morning coffee with beautiful views of the Gulf. The only negative was that the ice maker in the bar was not working. Communication from the Rental Company was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
