Gut: Sauberkeit
The condo was beautiful & just as advertised. We loved that it was on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool and beach and just steps to both. We frequent OB & Destin often as we live in Biloxi so it’s not a far drive. The only negative experience upon arrival was the check in process. The lady that works in the office, Sherry? is not friendly at all. Very rude & quick tempered. She actually screamed at me accusing me of “cussing her out” & made me leave bc I said the word “damn” to my father in law as I was trying to find our booking info on the app to add 2 extra guests. She made the check in process uneasy & frustrating. Very unprofessional and made us all very uncomfortable. She also made it very clear that we could not park, enter the condo, pool, beach, etc. until our check in time. These are the rules. We 100% understood this. It wasn’t the message. It was her delivery. The first thing she said was “I have nothing to do with your booking. I’m just HOA.” Fair enough. We’ve never had these issues with any other property we’ve stayed at in OB. It’s clear she caters to the owners and not renters. (We met several of the owners & they were very pleasant). This is understandable but maybe she doesn’t need to be the first point of contact upon arrival. I wasn’t even going to mention this but I felt it would be a disservice to the owners (& future guests) to not say anything. iTrip was amazing, Kaitlyn in particular. Unfortunately, we won’t return bc of this check in experience.
