There is a lounge and a restaurant on site, but we were just passing through so we didn't get to try them this time. The gift shop and lobby area are adorable. „We loved staying at the Blue Heron for our stay in Ocean Springs. We had multiple generations, from 92 yrs to 18 yrs. My father has a walker and he could get around for the most part. He had trouble getting the walker into the toilet rooms, and outside in the backyard, but overall wonderful time. The home was very clean and tidy upon entry, and had many amenities that weren't even mentioned. It was clear that the owners knew how to host and had items that some travelers may forget to bring. ...

There were a few items that could have made the stay more perfect including the failure of the outdoor stairs, noone was harmed but it was a close call. The upstairs bathroom faucet is broken and there was only one good pool stick. The view is beautiful, the items provided were great and the neighborhood was great. There appears to be an abanonded home next door and a bee nest was observed in the garage.“
