The house is on a beautiful property and was a short drive to both Shenandoah and Elkton and maybe about 15 minutes from the nearest park entrance. The place is pretty small but was perfect for my boyfriend and I since we were spending most of our time exploring the surrounding area.“

„My family and I stayed at The Gingerbread House for my brothers graduation from JMU. House is exactly as pictured and described. It’s a perfect and cozy home for family. There were two living areas we could spread out and a perfect little dining room for family meals. The hosts had these cute little bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash set up and plenty of linens. Really lovely stay.“

„The cottage was beautiful. Very nicely decorated, had many amenities, like bathrobes, which we loved. It’s the little things :-) The WiFi was great, which was important to us, because we worked from there. It is in a perfect location between downtown Charlottesville and all the wineries. The property manager was very quick to reply to all my questions, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!“

The TV and soundbar setup were extremely high quality, we had a great time playing two player on our Nintendo Switch as well as watching our favorite shows and a movie. We had an absolutely wonderful and rejuvenating stay here. The property fit our needs perfectly. The hot tub was clean and functional, the little curtains around it were a very nice touch as the backyards were a little close together and it provided peace and privacy. ...
