„All the staff went over an above to make our stay really relaxing and enjoyable. Nothing was to much trouble. Good ol fashioned service, for us it has set the benchmark that others will be judged by.“

„Lovely breakfast and great location. I loved the view from the bedroom window across Monmouth town.“

„It was our second stay and ist was as good as we remembered: nice room, helpful host (thanks for the short walk with all the little waterfalls) and the best cooked breakfast we ever had 😋“

„We had a very enjoyable stay. Ann & Baratt were great hosts. Good location for visiting Monmouth.“

„Beautiful location. Great breakfast.“

„Irgendwie hat alles gestimmt: das Zimmer, die Stimmung, der Service. Hat nur drei Sterne aber ich war in viel schlechteren "4*-"Häusern“

„Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return.“

„The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate and we look forward to visiting again soon. It's a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities. I enjoyed a delicious Indian breakfast which made a nice change, and my daughter enjoyed her ...

„We had a lovely overnight night stay at the Wallace. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and tidy with tea, coffee and Welsh cakes. The pub was inviting with roaring log burner which gave extra coziness. The evening meal was delicious😋 The best local sourced fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Full English breakfast was also very good. I would definitely stay again“

„Loved this spot! Even without the AC! Such a good overnight spot“

„On the plus side the staff were friendly, the price good, the bed comfy and the parking free. On the negative side, everything looked a bit shabby, doors were dirty, the window in the bedroom didn’t close properly and when a heavy burst of rain occurred water was flowing into the bedroom. The plugs didn’t all work, the television was hung on a wonk, the light was broken and hanging off the wall. I was woken throughout the night with people banging doors and then at 6am was a fire alarm, I left ...

„Very very good foot, kind stuff But the bathroom was not so good. Kein Wasserdruck , viel zu niedrige decken . “

„Gutes günstiges Hotel. Wifi nur im öffentlichen Bereich.“

„We did have some checking in issues - we didn’t receive a key box code and had to ring the host at midnight. We found it quite hard to reach the host in the days leading up to the booking.“

„A very good multiple choices of breakfast, follow staff's instructions, we got free parking near side for three days. Like most hotel in Wales this hotel also act like restauranter, pub, and hotel. The staff are so friendly, willing to take extra effort to help us out. We even like this town's living so much, wishing to come back in the future. TO LIVE.“

„We’re walking the Herefordshire Trail and stayed here for one night. I was a good choice. A friendly welcome. We had an excellent room which was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to walk around. Food in the evening was excellent, with a good menu choice. A good selection of cask beers. Breakfast was excellent a good menu to choose from. All the staff were great. We highly recommend.“
