„Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel. Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to. Room attended to daily. The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs.“

„Beautiful setting, Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was charming. Plenty of parking. We had underfloor heating and found the room too hot through the night and bed a little to hard for me. If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it.“

And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return.“

Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to ...

„The lady that greeted us was lovely and she then told us where our room was. We hoped to eat in the hotel but was told that the chef had called in unable to cook. I tried to find out if we could get breakfast next morning but nobody came back to us. Nobody told us how to exit the building in an emergency and when we left the next morning at 9.45 we had to let ourselves out and leave the keys on the bar having seen no one!
