Very nicely equipped and decorated basement apartment! Very responsive hosts! Definitely a five star stay. We loved the hot tub and pool table, as well as the PAC-man game during our downtime. The snacks and waters were a nice surprise upon our arrival as well. Their cat Zipper was very sweet and a big hit with my daughter.One thing I would have liked to see the listing mention is that the owners/hosts do live on-site, upstairs. It wasn’t an issue and we never heard them and only saw them in passing once, while outside turning our car around in front of the house. I suspected the owners may live on-site and could have asked ahead of time, but it wasn’t a big deal to us, aside from being a bit concerned that our dogs might disturb them by whining or barking while we were away from the apartment for a family function that we couldn’t bring the dogs along for. I messaged to express my concern and the hosts were so gracious, assuring me that the insulation was very good and that they were sure it wouldn’t be an issue. I only mention it for those that might want a completely private property.I also want to thank the hosts for their sweet messages to our family about the purpose of our trip, which was for my father-in-law’s memorial/celebration of life. Very much appreciated!
