„This boutique hotel is clean, safe, and comfortable. The small gym is surprisingly well equipped with free weights, an elliptical, and even a water rowing machine. I had several meals here, and for such a quiet and intimate place, the food was very good. I stayed twice within a week, and while I did have to ask them to adjust the hot water, everything else was just right. Overall, it’s exactly where I would choose to stay again, and I’d recommend it to others.“

„The property is in a gated community and very quiet.The backyard is beautiful! I was the only one staying that night. It's a three bedroom, three bath house with very comfortable seating areas inside and out. Staff prepared a delicious steak dinner with fresh made fries and salad. Since I was leaving early, they prepared a breakfast to go. I would definitely stay at Sunbird Guesthouse again!“

„Herunter gekommen, hat sicher schon mal bessere Jahre gesehen. Von 4 Liften funktionierte nur einer, Frühstücksangebot wurde kaum erneuert, Poolregion verwarlost, einzig das Restaurant bot abends eine ausgezeichnete Küche mit gutem Preis Leistung Verhältnis“

„Das Monomotapa liegt relativ zentral in Harare, in der Nähe von Harare Gardens. Ich habe allerdings nicht viel von der Umgebung gesehen, da wir das Hotel nur für eine Übernachtung genutzt haben. Generell war das Hotel so wie alle Hotels in Zimbabwe: sauber und geplegt (allerdings etwas altmodisch), sehr freundliche Leute. Das Essen im Hotel war auch sehr gut, auch das Frühstück. Der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet.“
