I gave the location and neighborhood a 3 star only because the road is very busy for those who like to exercise or walk the dog and the lake at this location is not clear water. The kids were covered in muddy water after swimming, so make sure you wear swim shoes and of course shower afterwards.“

„The location of this house is excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and getting to it is easy. The covered outdoor lounge area was a nice place to relax and also offered a place to park our motorcycles to keep them out of the weather. There are a few concerns that were listed by another visitor back in February that were not taken care of by the time of our stay. Namely, the master bed needs more supports, there were very few hangers in the closets, the propane tank for the outdoor fire pit was ...

„The Red Roof cabin was perfect for our group. It is relatively close to Roan mountain (a beautiful hike), and close to Burnsville where we spent an afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch taking in the beautiful view of the mountains. The cabin is well stocked (kitchen, bathrooms and living areas easily accommodated the five of us. Note for those who like a cold beer after a hike, the cabin is in a dry county!“

Wifi was fast and strong to stream or catch up on any work emails. Our pups enjoyed the property too with a mix of areas to walk and to roam.
