„The cabin is small and rustic as described but comfortable for two adults. Everything needed for your stay is supplied, even a usb c plug which I forgot but needed for my camera equipment. The cabin is clean but like any rustic cabin some insects, mostly ants near the end of our two weeks stay. „Very relaxing, comfortable place to stay! Cabin has everything needed to enjoy this beautiful country. The best room in the cabin is the back porch overlooking a peaceful lake with the mountain beyond. Comfy rockers are provided and the host even had a vase of wild flowers prepared on the back porch for our enjoyment. Owner is accommodating and ready to help with any needs. Highly recommend!“

„We love Acadia and this was a unique and fun home to stay in. We hadn’t stayed on this side of the island and I am glad we did. It was a fun location to do some things we hadn’t done before and the house/kitchen was perfect for us as a stopping ground. I would suggest adding another railing up to the loft, where the netting decoration is. „The cabin is close to Acadia National Park in Manset. It is very cozy inside and out. The bedroom, in particular, is nice and cozy and a great retreat after a long day of hiking. The kitchen is also very well equipped, and we were able to cook great meals. There are little signs everywhere explaining how everything works. That was very helpful. „A very charming cabin that’s located on an awesome property, overlooking a little bay off the Atlantic. One evening after having spent the morning on a lobster boat and then steaming lobster and crabs in the cabin, I walked down to the stone peak on the shore. There were two seals near a school of fish about 30 yards out. Two bald eagles then swooped by, followed by an osprey. Everything about Swans Island is just great, a friendly community.
