„Would of liked to stay in a yurt/but we just happened ontothis VRBO and were fortunate to grab a cancellation timeslot. Ended up loving the spot. Seemed more secluded then the yurts. The owners thought of everything.(except a bathroom sink, but the kitchen sink is fine. Bed was comfortable. And the community sharing at the red barn was another thoughtful plus to the property. Great location for exploring the Acadia area. Book it ! You won't regret it.“

„The condo was very clean and nicely designed. The location was convenient and in a less crowded and quiet area. The host was available and was so helpful with suggestions of what to do in the area prior to our trip.“

„Sehr gemütliches, gut ausgestattetes Cottage in welchem wir uns zu viert sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Die Küche hat alles was man braucht um gut zu kochen. Ein Supermarkt ist ganz in der Nähe. Gute Ausgangslage für Trips in den Acadia National Park. Ein sehr schöner Badesee mit Sandstrand ist ganz nah. “

The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful July 4th wknd stay. There’s a wonderful place across the street for breakfast, coffee, ice cream etc. thanks for a great stay!“

„This was the most amazing experience. Everything was perfect. We had everything we needed and was able to take a five minute drive to a nearby IGA for food and supplies, and had lovely restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the short drive to the bottom of Long Pond for hiking and a peaceful, beautiful place to read and sit to start and end our days. The campground was just so peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend.“

The thoughtful touches such as the games, travel coffee mugs and well stocked fire pit and activity closet make this rental stand out against all the others. „The Highland Cottage was perfect!! We spent a lot of our mornings and evenings on the deck relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Coopers Hawks, deer, enormous squirrels and chipmunks came to visit each day. Having a cozy, well appointed, delightfully decorated home base was just what we needed after our daily adventures in Acadia National Park. On our last morning we decided we would come back again!!! Fantastic!!“

„We stayed just over a week and really enjoyed all of it. The facility and property in general weee great; our hosts made everything easy and prepared the Yurt beautifully. We had not stayed in one before, but were very pleasantly surprised. They even provided eye covers and earplugs if you wanted to use them. I did not use them, but I thought it evidence of the attention to detail. You should try it!“

„The house was roomy for our party of 8 (including 3 kids). The washer and dryer were nice to have so that we could leave with clean clothes, and lighten our luggage. The check-in process and entry to the house were super easy, as was communication with the owner. There are 4 bedrooms, but the listing may not detail exactly that you have to go through the bedroom at the top of the steps to get to the twin bedroom, then you get to the queen bedroom, then you get to the other queen bedroom, and ...

„The house was amazing and very large. It had a wonderful backyard area w a fire pit and plenty of chairs. The bedrooms were large and the upstairs attic bedroom space was awesome! The kitchen was very well stocked and so were the bathrooms. We absolutely loved our stay!! As a bonus there hiking trails all nearby. “

"Sehr nettes freundliches Ambiente, In der Lobby stehen jederzeit Kaffee, Tee, Säfte und Snacks zur Verfügung sowie frischer Kuchen. Auch die Mitarbeiterin sehr freundlich, gut gelaunt. Trotz der nahen Straße war es nicht zu laut im Zimmer, gut war, dass sich die Fenster zum Lüften öffnen ließen und nicht nur abhängig ist von Klimaanlagen. Parkplatz im Hof war super, alles im Ort fußläufig erreichbar. Resumee: sehr zu empfehlen!"

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."
