„Absoluter Geheimtipp, Wer auf das alte England und auf schöne Pubs steht, ist hier absolut richtig. Das Hotel hat nur zwei Zimmer, die Einrichtung ist der Hammer, habe noch nie ein Hotel gesehen welches so liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Personal ist top. Es ist auf dem Dorf und man würde es wahrscheinlich nicht zufällig finden, da es etwas abseits der Route ist. Für uns aber kein Problem. Unbedingt zu empfehlen wenn man in Dover ankommt und anschließend weiter reisen möchte. “

„Diese Unterkunft ist einzigartig schön eingerichtet und befindet sich in einem 500 Jahre altem Haus mit einem wunderschönen Garten. Jeglicher Komfort ist vorhanden und das Frühstück wird von Rod eigenständig liebevoll. Er hat uns mit guten Tipps geholfen, die schöne Gegend mit dem Fahrrad zu erkunden. „We had a lovely stay here, introducing our little boy to camping for the first time. It was a lovely and cosy pod for the 3 of us and it was amazing being right next to the lions. „I had a room in the Mews, it was delightful and clearly recently refurbished, but there was no direct dial telephone and, on the 10 plus time I tried to call reception (about a 5 to 7 minute walk away) there was no answer. „Our family room was extremely old and run down. Spiders and cobwebs everywhere. The carpet was totally filthy. It stank horribly, so that it burned the lungs. Breakfast is only available from 8 am. As we had to get to the Eurotunnel earlier, we tried to get something to eat at 7.30 a.m., but this was not approved, although everything was already laid out and ready. The only thing to recommend is the restaurant in the evening, which unfortunately is not the point here. It's great and very tasty.“
