„The maple castle was awesome! Definitely the most unique house I have ever stayed in. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the river or you can walk down a tiny hill to tie up a tube and float in it. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend. “

„We spent the night in Mad River Valley at the 1830 House for a weekend event. The house was clean and cosy and it accommodated all of us. The Wifi worked well and we loved the privacy each of us had in our own rooms. We also appreciated the kitchen (there are two, if you book the whole house - one up and one down!). „The house is quant and has a good view of the lake. The rocking chairs on the deck were nice to relax and watch the water. The kitchen is stocked with essentials and all the things that you would need which was great. The beds are extremely firm which wasn’t ideal for us. The nearby towns of Brandon and Middlebury had lots of things to do so that was nice to explore the area. „The home was lovely and well-appointed and was very comfortable for 6 adults. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, and cooking utensils, etc...There is a bathroom on each of the three floors which was very convenient - showers on the second and third floors.
