When I got to the property I was greet with "there is a problem with you booking". The owner was new and was unaware that the motel appeared on the Expedia site. The owner was gracious and did all she could to provide accommodation for the night, although the accommodation was inferior to the accommodation I had booked on Expedia. This seems to be more an Expedia problem than a problem with the proprietors of the motel.
The proprietor did all she could in circumstances to help, for which I am grateful.
