„Very Relaxing“

„It was amazing to have the privilege of being able to stay in a home that is this timeless. However with an 1850's home, there are some aspects that may not be what you're used to, especially the bathroom facilities. They were OK, but a renovation in that area would be welcome. The beds are all comfortable! Great internet, too. I loved just seeing all the antiques ... and the beautiful views. „This little housse is like a very good cabin. 2 private bedrooms with one shared bath. Very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for a good stay. New appliances and heating system, back deck has wonderful private view of the woods. Very quiet and restful, yet right in the middle of Staunton. All amenities were minutes from the house. Very clean and had a very interesting history to the house. Yet great modern renovation. Would definitely visit again. The host even left wine for us ...

„A group of friends stayed at Big Springs B&B for a weekend trip to Highland County. The house was exactly as described, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal and we appreciated the farm-raised beef in the freezer. The setting is beautiful. We enjoyed hearing the whippoorwills at dusk and seeing the milky way at night.“

„This house is very close to downtown Staunton and I walked there every morning and afternoon with my dog. The property manager is incredibly responsive and check-in was easy with a code to the lockbox provided a few days in advance. The kitchen is well stocked and my family and I cooked breakfast and dinner most days. „This property was just what we needed! We were in town for a small family wedding. The property is beautiful! The creek running behind the property is easy access. There are several hiking trails around the area. Lexington is a short drive away if you forgot to pack something. The hosts are amazing and are very responsive!“
