Everything about the property is outstanding - the location right on lake of Egypt, the gorgeous outdoor space, cozy screened in porch, & beautiful home. We arrived late in the evening & saw 5 deer as we approached the property, which started our trip on a high note. Host was great with communication & the home was clean. A whole shed with all the lake toys you need and they thought of everything inside the house as well. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed to lake. We also explored local towns and restaurants. „Beautiful log home. The view of the lake couldn’t be better. Be aware that there are many, many steps to the water, but they are not steep. We are over 70 years old and were able to handle them, although we can feel it in our calves today. It was a plus to have the electric hot water pot. My husband likes his coffee in the morning, but I prefer tea. Perfect for us!“

The house was well located for our needs, right off of 51 for easy travel into town and up to Carbondale, and the area was quiet and peaceful.“

„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pa's House. The house is gorgeous, and decorated perfectly. You can tell Matt and his family put alot of time and energy into fixing the house up! It is well stocked and had everything we needed. The whole house was very clean! We have stayed at multiple houses in the Anna area and this one is by far the best! „This was a lovely space to stay. We were there for diving at Mermet Springs. It is not far from town and easy to get to. For those diving it has a washer and dryer that worked great for wet things. Nice patio for eating outside. We would definately stay again if it's available when we are there“
