Es war nicht gründlich gereinigt, es gab Dinge wie abgebrochene Fensterriegel, defekte Haushaltsgeräte, kaputte Lampen, ungeordnetes Chaos in den Küchenschränken, gebrochene Regale im Kühlschrank usw. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmässig, nicht aber "like a villa". Für zwei Gäste waren nur "Behelfsbetten" aufgestellt, eine Matratze auf dem Boden und ein Metall-Klappbett. ...

„We had some amazing views of sunrises in this house and a great/relaxing time in the hot tub that is outside the house. The house is perfectly located as a starting point to visit a lot of places of the golden circle and beyond e.g. just 15min away from the secret lagoon (a must visit!). Everything was very clean and the kitchen was very well equiped. Try to buy groceries either in Selfoss or 7 min away in Reykholt (small grocery store). The neighborhood is very quite. „Super easy check-in! Just a code for key access and you’re in! It’s a smart house, so things like Alexa control the lights and hot tub! If you get the right night, even the pictures of the northern lights in the listing didn’t fail us. We saw them from the hot tub on our last night. Might have been more, but lots of rain during our stay. The town has a great bakery, pizza place & brewery with great staff and prices. „The house was perfect for our family of 4. The hot tub was amazing to watch the northern lights even in winter and the sauna was an added bonus. The location is great for seeing lots of great sights on the golden circle. We rented a car and toured the southern coast as well as Reykjavík. Listing is as described. The owner sends a full guide to the home and the area which is so helpful. He even gives his cell number for urgent matters. Highly recommend!“

„Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts.“
