„Weilte 5 Tage im Hotel The Coniston Inn. Die Lage des Hotels, unmittelbar in Seenähe und etwas ausserhalb vom Ort Coniston (kurzer Fussmarsch) gelegen, ist schlicht wunderbar. Sehr ruhige Lage, eine Bus-Haltestelle vor dem Hotel und eine grosse Gartenanlage mit Sitz- und Erholungsgelegenheiten. Das Gebäude ist ein typisch englisches Landhaus. „What a great find in Winster. The Brown Horse Pub did not disappoint. We stayed in the external King room ( non pet) and it was lovely, clean and tidy with daily housekeeping. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of tea and coffee supplied with biscuits 😀. The private patio was a bonus with great views. The cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious and cooked fresh, with plenty of choices. Plus you also got continental breakfast additions of fruit, yogurt, cereal selection, juice, ...

„The historic building is fabulous, the atmosphere great, it's the pole position in Windermere, great view on the lake. I wonder if it is necessary that during the summer season the building is under construction. With scaffoldings in front of the windows, some parts of the building beside the entrance in bad condition, and even a corridor we had to pass everyday was stuffed with furniture, cardboard boxes ... This is not the atmosphere for holidays. Due to repairs on some wires, the internet ...

„2 days well spent at this lovely homely property! Located in a great place with easy parking. Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. The hosts put their heart & soul into making everything perfect. We would certainly return. “

„A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided. The bed was lovely and comfortable. People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem. If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. “

"Weilte 5 Tage im Hotel The Coniston Inn. Die Lage des Hotels, unmittelbar in Seenähe und etwas ausserhalb vom Ort Coniston (kurzer Fussmarsch) gelegen, ist schlicht wunderbar. Sehr ruhige Lage, eine Bus-Haltestelle vor dem Hotel und eine grosse Gartenanlage mit Sitz- und Erholungsgelegenheiten. Das Gebäude ist ein typisch englisches Landhaus. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Im Zimmer habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Toll auch, dass man im Zimmer über einen Wasserkocher mit Tee- und Kaffee-Vorräten verfügen kann. Das Frühstück ist grandios. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Eier-Gerichte (im Frühstückspreis enthalten). Auch im Restaurant habe ich einige Male gegessen. Es hat Pub-Charakter, was ich als sehr angenehm empfunden habe."
