„We enjoyed the cabin, but wished we were the only ones renting. it’s a duplex, and the upper half was rented out also . We loved the river. The sound of the water rushing was mesmerizing. We spent time below the dam near the cabin, and above the dam as well. The water was warm and a lot of fun. We enjoyed going for long walks along the river. We were there mid August, and no bugs. It was wonderful.“

„Unique property, would be great for extended remote-work stay given the office. Plenty of space for kids in the lower level. Location right downtown is conducive to walking - and the lake view is great.“

„What a wonderfully appointed home. It felt like a cozy home away from home. And the location was so convenient to everything. And check in and out couldn't have been easier. Also appreciated the fact that if we needed anything, our host was right there. Would definitely stay here again. “

„Quite enjoyed the peace and quiet while I was working in the area. Beautiful house near the lake. If someone is looking for that quiet, this is The place. “

„The home is in a convenient location. Close to downtown. We have only stayed in the winter so I can’t comment about the lake other than it was a pretty view. We were disappointed that the hot tub was not working this trip but had fun playing games around the table.“

„The house was older, but somewhat updated. The house was older but safe and secure. It was a bit dirty when we arrived, the counters, floors, frig, stove and tables were dirty. There were many finishing touches that were not done in the house, and it just seemed to be rushed through. We have stayed in many VRBO properties, and this one was at the bottom of that list. Overall, it was a good stay, but I don't think we'll be back. “

We could only find a partial roll of TP … not enough for 2 people for 3 days. A grab bar in the shower would be a nice safety feature, as would a rail on the back step. Getting in and out with our luggage was tricky! “
