Great location, lovely place

The barn was great, spacious, light, comfortable and very clean. Pub a few mins walk away had lovely food. Mo was really helpful and replied to messages quickly. Would definitely recommend

This is a charming well appointed house, it has everything you could need. Mo is a wonderful host, nice little texts just to make sure everything was just right... Would use again if in the area.

Perfect place to stay

We stayed at this lovely little place for 2 nights and maureen gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. It was also our 20th wedding anniversary and Maureen kindly bought us some champagne truffles for us which was lovely. There was everything you could need and more at thud property , the bed was so very comfortable to. We will definitely return for a longer stay in the future.

Beautiful, Modern, Cosy Barn

We spent two nights away here for my partners birrhday. When we arrived we were welcomed by the lovely Mo. Made us very welcome and let us know about the local places to go. We really loved it here and would love to go back sometime in the future. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

Fabulous private peaceful cottage we loved our stay here.

Just wonderful. Not far from Glastonbury and a nice pub up the way. We had been traveling for a few weeks and this is what we needed to recover and carry on. Could not recommend it highly enough

Perfect little home for two

We have used Owners Direct now for many years and this is one of our favourite properties. It has everything you need for a holiday home, and is clean and comfortable and spacious for two. The view of Glastonbury Tor from the bedroom window was wonderful. Mo provides a welcome pack of provisions to get you going and is on hand if you need her for any reason. The cottage is perfectly situated for visits to Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar, and a range of National Trust properties we never travelled more than 40 minutes in the car. We ate out twice at The Red Lion, only a short walk away, where they were very friendly and the food was good and a reasonable cost. We would strongly recommend a holiday at the Alsike Barn.

Clean, modern + relaxing

We stayed for 2 nights and found the accommodation very comfortable. A variety of useful items of food were provided along with all necessary cleaning materials. Many thanks Mo for your warm welcome and juggling vehicles to accommodate our estate car and transit van alongside the building..

Fabulous property with beautiful views

We loved our stay here. The property was furnished and equipped to a very high standard with everything we needed for our stay and was spotlessly clean. The location is excellent for exploring the area and the bedroom has a lovely view across to Glastonbury Tor. Although it is on a main road, it is very quiet at night and easy to sleep in the super-comfy bed. Mo and Carl made us feel very welcome and we hope we'll be able to come back before too long.

Gorgeous little gem of a place!

Fantastic,comfortable and very convenient for many places of interest.

This really was home from home with every convenience possible. Mo was very accommodating and nothing was to much trouble. There are many interesting places to visit, Bath, Wells, Longleat, Glastonbury all within a short drive. Very highly recommended.

Brilliant place for 2

A very warm welcome from Mo who had been accommodating enough to leave some 'Birthday cupcakes' for the two of us (it was my partners birthday weekend). All basic essentials were present from milk and bread through to towels and toiletries. The property has everything you need and there are no hidden suprises, the description and picture are reflective of what you're getting - nice to find an honest owner :) Although the proximity to the road was apparent in the morning and evening, road noise was absolutely minimal at night and certainly no sleep lost. Both my partner and I agreed we'd definitely stay again should we be in the area. Thank you Mo :)

Brand new, super spacious little jem!

What a find! We want to keep it our secret, but we won't! We were using Alsike Barn as a base to travel to Longleat, but didn't just want 'a bed for the night', and it couldn't have been more perfect. So spacious, we could have moved in! We were travelling with our 10 month old daughter who loved practicing her walking I the open plan lounge - kitchen. The bedroom is the size of the whole footprint of the house, imagine! Crisp white linen, the comfiest bed and fresh soft towels. I don't take it for granted, and this exceeded expectations. The new kid on the block, not only brand new but fitted to the highest standard, and every detail has been thought of, and to say it's fully equipped would be an injustice to the extra effort Mo has gone to. Bread, milk, butter, jams, and juice awaiting our arrival. All mod cons in the kitchen. We loved the wet room, lovely shower, and there's even a bathroom supplies kit 'just incase'. Having been the head housekeeper for 5* gold holiday lets, I can confidently say the accommodation is spotless, cleaned and looked after to the highest standard. Mo gave us a warm friendly welcome on arrival, and it was fab to know she was just next door, but in no way at all did we feel over looked. Perfectly located for clarks village, Longleat and Glastonbury among other places. And the view of Glastonbury tor from the bedroom window was the icing on the cake. Thank you for a great stay! We lucked out.

Modern, clean, great location

The barn is tastefully decorated in a modern style. It is clean and well equipped. It's situated close to Glastonbury, Wells, Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge and other tourist locations. Mo was friendly and easy to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful, modern accommodation in a rural setting.

We stayed at Alsike Barn for 1 night and wished we were staying for longer. Mo is an amazing host, who couldn't of been anymore accommodating. She kindly provided a bottle of prosecco for my hubbys birthday! The accomodation is equipped with everything you need... a home from home experience. Modern, clean and plenty of room for 2. Perfectly situated to visit Glastonbury and clarks village. With a 5 min walk to a quirky pub. Highly recommend Alsike barn, we will definitely be returning again! Thanks Mo.
