The cottage is a short walking distance to almost everything in town. We loved all the history in Walhalla, the walks in the hillside nearby, the gold mine and we even did a ghost tour! „My only comment would be that the steps from the carport to the house need to have a handrail. I have arthritis and found the steps steep and difficult to go up and down, a handrail would have made it far more easily accessible.Possibly also some new frypans!? Everything else was fine and the mattresses were lovely and comfortable. “
