„My boyfriend & I stayed at the Pemi Shore Cottages for 2 nights and it was exactly what we was looking for. Privacy in a wooded area with a quick walk to a beach? What more can we ask for :). We brought our two dogs and even that was a great accommodation! Our host John was super friendly and just one call away! I would highly recommend this location if you want to disconnect and relax.“

„Our son and granddaughter live in Dover so we always find a place to stay so we can visit. This was one of our favorites. Right on bear lake beautiful sunsets the water was warm enough to swim. There was kayaks there to use. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes,seasoning. We had a great time. Just be careful driving in the road is pretty rough.“

„The house was very nice and comfortable for four of us. Even though it rained each day, there is plenty of nearby shopping. We always try to do short term rentals when we travel. A couple of suggestions - the house had no wash cloths, no can opener, no salt & pepper shakers. Towels racks in the bathrooms would be a huge help. The listing indicated a hot tub and 2+ bathrooms. There was no hot tub and two full baths. There was no welcome booklet with local restaurants, points of interest, wifi ...

„Grandmas cottage was just as described and really felt like visiting with grandma. The location was superb with an easy access to the trail into town. The views of the water from the porch were astounding. Overall a great stay and will definitely try to be back during the warmer months.“

Groceries, ice cream, takeout are all within 2 miles. Short trip trip to Laconia and Meredith. „The house is very dirty and smelling inside. The cupboards and washing maschine were disgusting. Unfortunately it is also not cozy inside and equiped with very old furniture. Furthermore the heating is very load and you can regulate the heating at two points only. E.g. the bedrooms and bathrooms are regulated together. „This home was the perfect place for my family. My 5 grandchildren had plenty of room to play and relax in. It was wonderful to find so many games, puzzles, and books for everyone. The kitchen had everything needed for meal preparation. We found the house to be quite clean and comfortable for the 10 of us. So happy that we chose this home for our long weekend.“

„Just as described, the beautiful restoration was secluded and quiet and close to Concord and Contoocook. We stocked up on local farm goods at the nearby Dimond Hill Farm. The house was well stocked in linens and the kitchen, and activity shed. We even had a cute baby porcupine grazing nearby as we had some morning coffee by the fire pit.“
