„We liked the property but it said it could sleep 6 but it didn't have eating seating or plates for 6. We had 5 and had to sit on floor to really spread out. Close to all the attractions and we liked the history of place. Close to shops and food places.“

„My husband and I were finally able to take our youngest kids (18 & 21 years old) to see the D.C. area along with Gettysburg. The place is literally on the corner of 2 major roads in town. I was a bit surprised how near the traffic was. It could be noisy at times but did not bother us too much. It may bother others who are light sleepers. „The house was fantastic for our family reunion to attend our son's graduation from Gettysburg. It has so many spaces for people to gather, inside and outside, and more than enough beds and bathrooms. It's only 20 minutes or so from Gettysburg, so easy in and easy out. The view is beautiful and serene, with a gorgeous pool and porch area. Communication was great also. Highly recommend.“

„We stayed here four nights in May and it was fantastic! The location is beautiful—both the home and the farm it is located on. It was about 15 minutes from downtown Gettysburg but it felt remote. It was quiet, relaxed and everything we needed. The owners even provided us with milk and eggs from the farm as well as firewood and s’mores ingredients. 10 out of 10 recommend!“

„We had an amazing stay at the Getty House celebrating my graduation from seminary. The house was comfortable and spacious enough for all 7 of us. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at the fire pit and playing games at the dining room table. Everything in town was within walking distance and we did a lot of shopping and sightseeing. It was a wonderful way to spend our week together. “

„The minute we walked through the door there was a warm, cozy and welcoming feeling. The location is perfect, a short walk to the center of town yet just far enough outside did not hear the traffic. I would most definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone I know visiting the area.“

„Really enjoyed our stay at this Gettysburg property! Entire house was sparkling clean. The kitchen was new and beautiful. The 3-level living was perfect for a family with teenagers. Also enjoyed the 3 different living areas with tv s and comfortable furniture for relaxing. Even the laundry area was clean and new. The owners were very thoughtful leaving homemade baked goods and plenty of drinks etc. We hope to return very soon!“
