"West View Cabins" on Ostego Lake - Cabin #1 - Waterfront and on Trail 7

Welcome to "West View Cabins". We offer four (4) cabins tucked together on Otsego Lake, directly on Trail 7.

This listing is for Cabin #1 — don’t let the simple name fool you. It’s your roomy, comfortable basecamp for long lake days, trail exploring, and everything northern Michigan throws your way. As the largest cabin on the property, it offers two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a kitchen with a center island. Laundry available until Sept 2026. The primary bedroom has two queen beds and its own ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. A second hallway bathroom, also with a tub/shower, keeps everyone comfortable.

The open‑concept living room is made for relaxing after adventure-filled days, with a sofa bed for extra guests. Stay connected with Wi-Fi and relax with essentials like air conditioning.

Boat docking, trailer parking, (2) large fire pits overlooking the lake with complimentary firewood, (4) kayaks, and (5) bikes. Turn from the driveway onto Trail 7! Grassy commons area and shallow sandy bottom swimming area with floats. Incudes picnic table, propane grill, starter paper products and coffee supplies.

*There are 25 wood steps with a handrail down to the waterfront.

**Pets: One dog under 50# per cabin, with a $25/night pet fee. Please check the box when making the reservation that says, "Traveling with pets" and then message us with the color/description of your furry friend.

The garage, storage room next to the garage, and the two utility storage closets inside the yellow house (cabin #1) are not included with the vacation rental and are not accessible to guests. As required by Vrbo policy, this is a camera location disclosure. There are three (3) exterior cameras onsite to monitor parking areas (one on the garage and two on Cabin 4 exterior).
