Time Capsule Tower sits in Gaylord's Michaywe community — a quiet, wooded neighborhood with walking trails, open green spaces, and year-round community pool and hot tub access (indoor in winter, outdoor in summer).

Short drive to:

15 minutes to Treetops Resort — skiing in winter, championship golf spring through fall
15 minutes to downtown Gaylord for shops, restaurants, and breweries
45 minutes to Boyne Mountain
Snowmobile and ORV trails accessible from the area in winter
Gaylord is Michigan's Alpine Village — a true four-season destination for skiers, golfers, snowmobilers, and lake lovers. Whether you're here to hit the slopes, the links, or the trails, Time Capsule Tower is your basecamp for it all.

Guests have full access to Time Capsule Tower — all six bedrooms including the loft, three bathrooms, sunken living room, basement arcade lounge, upper-level movie room, sauna, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit with dining space. The garage is not accessible to guests.

Retro architecture comes with a few quirks:

Spiral staircase between levels
Loft is ladder-access only
Multiple levels throughout
These add character but may be difficult for very young children, older adults, or anyone with mobility challenges. Please keep this in mind when planning sleeping arrangements.

Community amenities (Michaywe):

Indoor pool + hot tub open Labor Day through Memorial Day (winter months)
Outdoor pool open Memorial Day through Labor Day (summer months)
Walking trails and open green spaces year-round
Check-in: keyless self check-in via smart lock — full details shared in your pre-arrival guidebook.
