„Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.“

„Wonderful 3 night’s stay. Accommodation appeared as much bigger than expected. Had everything we needed. Such a peaceful location. Just the sounds of owls at night and woodpeckers during the day! We really enjoyed sitting in the garden. We used the opportunity of having a good weather to do a bbq on one evening. Arthur and Mimi were so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble! Provided us with charcoal when we forgotten to purchase it, at no extra cost. As advised, we helped ourselves with ...

„We had a fantastic stay at Riverside Retreat. The place was wonderful. A real gem. It had everything we needed, it was clean and extremely comfortable. Messages on the app that i didnt know i needed.Travelled almost 2 hours in poor weather conditions with a toddler, to phone the place and the ‘office be closed’. Phoned help line which is in india who just kept telling me to wait 1 hour. 3 times!!! “

„Perfect little bolt hole with lovely countryside views. Ideally posiitoned for walks in the forest (5 minute walk from the door to the forest) and down to Symmonds Yat. Paul was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. Everything was super clean in the 'pigsty'. Definitely a funky place to stay. Would definitely go again!“

"The Hotel was ok. When we arrived I gave the license plate of the car at the reception but we still got a trafic violation ticket for parking at the parking lot of the hotel. That was pricy and annoying, because we had a rentel car and where charged extra by the rental car company. When I asked Reglan Lodge to help sort this out, I didn't even get a reply. So thanks for the stay that now costs us mmore then 3times the hotelprice! "
