„The property was very nice with a large yard. There were a lot of songbirds and an eagle! House was very clean with everything you need. We explored the area doing a lot of hiking and was a very relaxing place to come back to. The porch is amazing even when it rained. There are 2 benches at the creek but it's easier if you bring camp chairs for the firepit which we didnt have. A wonderful place to stay!!“

Wanting to have some peace and quiet when others were coming up last year led us to look elsewhere and this is where we decided to stay...and we loved it. This year we decided to book it before we even checked with my other family members. You don't need to struggle to find a reason to stay here. It's quiet, close to everything, and Traci will take care of you, period.“

„My family and I had a weekend getaway here. We enjoyed the house, the board games, and exploring the property. If you’re in need of some relaxation and quiet this is a great place to do it. The driveway is very long, just keep going, you’ll get there. The Austin dam is minutes down the road, the Potter County Pub is 10 minute drive and a great place for food and drinks.“

„Excellent Property. Excellent Logistics-very close to PA Grand Canyon and fishing Darling Run. Property was in excellent shape and offered the group the most relaxing and tranquil stay. Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!“

„The place was exactly as presented in the description. Very comfortable and welcoming. The communications with the owners and the site manager was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped with a great stove and oven for our meal prep. The location by the creek was fantastic. Access to the rail to trail was a short drive.We will be back!“
