Cozy Home secluded in the Wildlife Preserves

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A 2100 sq. ft. split level home, located in The Galena Territory, on a secluded acre, surrounded by Wildlife Preserves. During your stay, you can enjoy our complimentary coffee, WIFI, game room which includes Ping-Pong and multigame Pac-Man arcade. You can relax in the screened-in porch, open deck, or sit around the fire pit and admire the incredible view of the brilliant stars.

Good time had by all!

We loved our clean and cozy VRBO house. The kids loved the ping-pong table and Connect 4. The fenced-in yard for our dog was amazing and we loved the fire pit as well! Highly recommend!

Spring break

Our family enjoyed our stay . The home and property are lovely. All linens and bath towels were fresh.My only complaint is an extra kitchen towel or 2 would have been nice( the one there was actually a linen napkin) and the pots could stand to be replaced. The 2 big fry pans were worn and stained and a small fry pan for eggs and saucepans for boiling noodles would have been nice but we made do. Very minor inconvenience. We’d stay again though. Thank you for sharing your home.

This was such a nice quick getaway with the family! It was so nice to be able to bring our dogs with us!! We don’t travel much because it’s not always easy to find pet sitters but this was great and a big back yard for them to run in!

The house is a great location. Our group was 3 couples and there was enough room for each couple to have privacy but also great space to come together and enjoy each other’s company.

Wonderful short stay

Everything about the place was perfect. There was a slight hiccup with getting in initially but the property handled everything very quickly. The place was very clean and decorated with cute winter decor. There was even a hot chocolate bar with cocoa and cookies provided. We had a great time playing games in the basement and there were also board games provided. The loft has a cute little reading area that I didn't get to take advantage of but they even provide books for you. We made all of our meals and there was plenty of cookware to accommodate our needs. I am looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful house with very comfy beds

The rooms were perfect for 5 adults. All of the Christmas decorations made it extra special for our family Christmas celebration. Some of the kitchen supplies could use updates but we had just about everything we needed. A large serving spoon would be nice but that's such a small thing. The coffee maker didn't work on the pot side but I didn't take time to contact the owner because the single cup side worked. All the extra coffee supplies was such a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again when int the area. Thank you

Family Fun

We had a great time staying at this property with our kids and grandkids. It worked perfectly for every family to have their own floor with a bedroom & a bathroom. Loved the fenced backyard which was surrounded by trees. We made S’mores at the fire pit. Owner was quick to reply on any questions we had.

My 2 sisters and my Mom stayed for the week. We visited antique shops in the area, shopped in Gelena. Enjoyed cooking and relaxing at this beautiful home. Beds were very comfortably. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and pans.

Great property for friends to gather

The place was perfect for us. Each couple had their own floor/bedroom/bathroom. We cooked every night and the kitchen had what we needed. There was wood ready for the fire pit. The ping pong and Pac-man games were a bonus! Also the host was very responsive. We’ll return!

Austin Family Golf Outing

We spent a few days in Galena, where we went to the rodeo, played golf, strolled the trails, and spent quality time with our family by the pool. Our time away from home was wonderful. July 4th Get-away

This Galena home was exactly what we were looking to get away from all the noise back home during the 4th of July. It was nice and quiet! The house was just like it was described, we all had our own bedroom and our dog absolutely loved the fenced in backyard as she had plenty of room to run. The house was not only clean, but they also go above that by having a coffee bar and welcome basket, and even had dog bowls out for our dog! The coffee pot had issues the first day and after we let Joe know, he actually had a new one delivered later that afternoon! Talk about awesome!! We definitely recommend staying here and we do planning on coming back to stay again! Thanks Joe!! (stayed July 3-6 2024)

Family Get Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cozy Home! Our adult children and in-loves met us for a much needed get-away with quality time spent together. The house was perfect for three couples having their own bed/baths, fenced in yard for our dogs & playing games at the dining room table/living room TV. Joe was responsive and accommodating to our requests, house was clean, beds were super comfortable & the coffee bar/welcome basket were a hit! We enjoyed Galena, the Territory & surrounding area.
