„This property was exactly what we expected. The house was very cozy and comfortable. Eclectic decor made for a home feeling. Appliances were fairly modern and worked excellent.Outside space was wonderful. Large yard and the flowing stream was very relaxing. And the owners were wonderful! We needed to extend our stay and they worked with us. We will return!“

„Excellent spot for a quick getaway! Vince and Heather were super friendly! We will definitely return!“

„We booked a one night stay at The Starry Snug for a quick anniversary getaway. It was WONDERFUL from start to finish! It is such a CLEAN cozy space and feels just like home. It literally has everything you need and then some. The shower is HUGE and even though we had a slight issue with the water draining, my husband was able to plunge it when we were done which seemed to fix the issue. The bed is SUPER comfortable and the fan over the bed is just enough on low. We will MOST DEFINITELY be back!“

„Second stay at this lovely location. We were able to experience more outside activity this year as we brought our son (14) and our daughter (22) stopped by. Plenty of room to run and play.We will definitely come again next year for our AnniverSCARY (10/31). Thank you to the owner for the updated heat source and unique experience!“

„Wonderful getaway. The Yurt had everything that you need.“

„The house was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed our time there!“

„What an amazing view!! Pilot Mountain in the distance and surrounded by fields and pasture. So private and gorgeous. We got to watch a family of 7 deer, including a buck with an impressive rack, graze in the next pasture over. Our dogs loved the yard, and the deck is situated so the view is at its best. We loved the uniqueness of the inside of the home, and was well appointed for making our own meals. Also enjoyed watching the World Cup semifinals on TV in the living room. Definitely putting ...

„Beautiful home for a mountain getaway. Host was honest, home was immaculately clean. Nice appliances, nice tv's, speedy internet for being on the side of a mountain, nice furniture ( was very impressed with the furniture, towels, bathroom cleanliness, nice extra blankets, utensils ). This property doesnt use thrift store, goodwill things or appliances to just have a rental and make extra money, they care about the quality of the stay. 2 bottles of wine ( we dont drink wine but the gesture in ...

„Some of the amenities listed for the property we're not on site. There was no hot tub. That wasn't a huge deal. However, the listing did state there was air conditioning and there was not. There happened to be record high temperatures during our stay and two adults have medical conditions/on medication that makes them heat intolerant as well as one of the children being autistic, the lack of AC was a major issue. The property management company brought out portable units and promptly resolved ...

„Peaceful & comfortable stay with breathtaking views! House was super clean & equipped with all you possibly need. Rebecca was a wonderful host! Great communication and provided a wealth of information about the area. Even though the weather was inclement most of our stay, we were able to relax & enjoy the serenity & wildlife.“

„This stay was absolutely spectacular! The property is immaculate, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The huge deck had an incredible view and we were so happy to sit out there and watch deer and birds. We were so sad we only booked one night. Excellent care and communication from the hosts. Would come back anytime, thank you!“

„View is exceptional. Nice windows inside to see the Blue Ridge Mountains. Saw a doe and her baby. Also saw turkey! Many amenities of home. Host was quick to reply to messages. Downside, there was an odor when we entered, but we like open windows the best anyway! With the winds open, fresh air was flowing. I’m just sensitive to odors, you may not be. Overall—- it was a very relaxing time for us as we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary overlooking the mountains!“
