„This is a beautiful, well equipped property. Excellent location right on the square in Casco Viejo. So clean and bright! Balcony space, lovely shower in the bathroom. Washer and dryer in room! Very classy and comfortable! The coffee shop downstairs is also excellent and has a super friendly staff. “

„The Amarla is a beautiful property. Gina at the front desk was very helpful. Also, we appreciated the man who carried our bags 6 blocks on the night of our arrival due to roadblocks because of the holiday. I highly recommend - just request room not directly in sun because air conditioner is a little weak. Jenny in the dining room was wonderful and breakfast was absolutely delicious.“

„This place was amazing! On the edge of Casco Viejo, the apartment was conveniently located to everything in the Old Town area. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, & spacious - and we loved being able to wash & dry our clothes halfway through the week. We had two friends over who are from Panama & they indicated that we found a gem. We will definitely be staying there again!“

„Stayed in an "Executive Suite in annex building." This was actually a beautiful full-size apartment in a historic building, fully-furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Perfectly central location in Panama Old Town, with a large balcony with great view. Excellent concierge service via a tablet device in the property. Only watch-out is if you are sensitive to noise: the central location, above 3 restaurants on a square is quite noisy also late at night, but this is likely to be the case ...

„This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The property has been beautifully restored and redesigned—it's a real treat just wandering through the different wings, checking out the unique restaurants and admiring all the little decorative touches in the hallways and corners. „Das Apartment ist super. Groß, gut ausgestattet und nett eingerichtet. Es liegt auch zentral im schicken Teil der Altstadt. Dort befinden sich aber auch Rooftop-Bars, die laute Musik spielen von 10pm bis ca 2am. Ansonsten ist es sogar recht ruhig. Wer mitfeiern will oder nicht allzu lärmempfindlich ist, der kommt damit klar. Uns hat es gut gefallen. Hier stimmen Preis und Leistung.“

„I had a wonderful stay at this place. The staff was incredibly attentive and polite. I highly recommend this property. It’s a bit small, though, and there’s no gym or swimming pool. But there’s a great restaurant on-site and a rooftop terrace with a nice view.“

„Wir waren in Zimmer 2, es hat so grausam nach SCHIMMEL gestunken, das wir nachts noch umgezogen sind.Morgens haben wir das Hotel gewechselt und unser Geld bar zurückbekommen, das fand ich o.k. Nie mehr wieder !!!“

„Das Hotel war im allgemein Bereich sehr schön. Der Service war korrket aber nicht lobenswert. Das Zimmer hat irgendwie ein Klima Problem. Wenn man die Air Conditioning nicht auf 17° einstellt wird das Zimmer plötzlich unglaublich feucht. Meine Kritik geht eher an Hotel.com: Kritik 1: Bei der Buchungsbestätigung offerieren sie uns ein VIP Package (siehe Bild 1)mit einer Flasche Champagner und ein Spa Treatment pro Person. „Alles sehr angenehm, sauber und auch sonst alles okay. Parken ist ein Problem erst wird man von geschaftstuchtigen wird man abgezockt und dann erfährt man das man da nicht parken darf und das Hotel bringt das Fahrzeug auf einen Parkplatz. Soweit so gut, am Morgen bei der Abreise muss man sich das Auto selber holen, da kein Personal da war und man bekommt eine wage Erläuterung wo der Parkplatz ist und dann muss man noch 21,52 Dollar zahlen für 7 stunden abstellen “

Hotelscom verspricht was es nicht halten kann

"Das Hotel war im allgemein Bereich sehr schön. Der Service war korrket aber nicht lobenswert. Das Zimmer hat irgendwie ein Klima Problem. Wenn man die Air Conditioning nicht auf 17° einstellt wird das Zimmer plötzlich unglaublich feucht. Meine Kritik geht eher an Hotel.com: Kritik 1: Bei der Buchungsbestätigung offerieren sie uns ein VIP Package (siehe Bild 1)mit einer Flasche Champagner und ein Spa Treatment pro Person. Als wir dieses VIP Package beim Check-in zeigten wollte niemand etwas davon wissen. Kritik 2. Als ich bezahlte haben die beiden ersten Nächte USD 206 plus Taxen gekostet. Die dritte Nacht war dann ca USD 327.-. Ich habe dann gefragt warum, und die Antwort war, dass wir mit diesem höheren Preis auf die mit Hotelscom abgemachte Total Summer kämen. Was so auch stimmte. Man hat mir aber bestätigt, dass ich ohne Hotelscom diese Nacht für USD 206 bekommen hätte. In andern Worten, wegen Hotelscom musste ich ca USD 120.- mehr bezahlen. Sie verstehen wohl, dass dies für mich nicht interessant ist. Sie versprechen mir etwas (VIP package) und halten es nicht und das Buchen über Hotelscom scheint teurer zu sein"
