„ 1. We had to spend a few hours before going to the airport and this was a perfect spot. 2. Driving-in is a little misleading as you hit a dead end on the ocean and a narrow left takes you to wide parking lot. Perfect location. 3. The land lady and staff are very nice. Room is very functional. Ocean view terrace is very useful specially when friends visit. 4. Complementary 24 hr drop to either airport is too good. Must stay.“

„Santa Maria is a beautiful gem located right on the ocean. The owners are very kind, thoughtful, and accommodating of their guests. It is very conveniently located near the airport (15 minutes by taxi) and many other attractions Kerala has to offer. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with some offering ocean views and balconies to enjoy the sunsets and watch the local fishermen haul in their catches of the day. Das Buffet (getrennt nach Frühstück, Mittag und Abend) ist ok aber nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Das Personal geht auf persönliche Wünsche gerne und spontan ein, allerdings ist das Serviceniveau bei einzelnen Mitarbeitern noch nicht durchgängig geschult. Demnächst erhält das Hotel die Genehmigung zur Eröffnung einer Bar, inkl. einer Ausschankgenehmigung für Alkohol.“

„Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise hat alles gepasst. Der pfiffige Hotelbesitzer hat alles im Griff, organisiert Ausflüge, Taxis und gibt super Hinweise zum Essen gehen. „It was a one night stay before a flight. The check in was quick (but 2 forms to fill in!); the room spacious and comfortable with efficient cooling. The lift played Brahms’ lullaby. There is a small swimming pool which I enjoyed a couple of times, which seemed seldom used, but a real pleasure. It’s located off some main road and easy to get places. „The room was large with a balcony, quite spacious and very tidy. The deal came with breakfast, so the cost was very affordable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Towels were clean and soft, bathroom was clean and had all the facilities. The only problem was the lack of supply of toilet rolls, coffee etc. we had to ask for these items. Would we stay here again “definitely”. “
