„The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham. We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills. Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus. We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.“

„My friends and I lived the place. Very clean. Staff very professional but friendly. There were a common ice machine in the corridor and tea facilities in the room. Food was superb. We wished we were staying longer as it was so nice and peaceful. Would definitely use this hotel again. Thank you. “

„Dog-friendly hotel, located outside the city centre at a nice environment- perfect to walk the dogs. Very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very basic and can‘t be recommended….at least not for GBP 18,-. Overall a good place to stay for dog owners.“

„A lovely hotel with great facilities. The twin room was huge with plenty of space and really comfy beds! Good value breakfast with lots of options. We also used the pool which was an added bonus. Although mostly adults seemed to be staying in the hotel, my 3 year old was made to feel very welcome. We will definitely be back! “

„The hotel is in a great location, with plenty of activities in and around it. We visited with two young children, and there was loads of things to keep them occupied. Our room was spacious and we had plenty of storage. The hotel bar has a nice atmosphere and the food served in the restaurant is a very high quality. But the best thing about the Dalmeny is definitely the staff, who all go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The customer service is excellent. “

"Am Wochenende beziehungsweise Samstag wurden die Zimmer nicht gereinigt und an einem Tag gab es bis mittags kein Wasser. Das Frühstück ist nicht wie angegeben, ein umfangreiches Frühstück, sondern eher eine Sparversion. Es ist schon etwas älter, aber zum schlafen und feiern reicht die Trümmerbude aus."
