„From the moment we arrived we settled in immediately. Everything we needed was there.Quiet ,spacious and comfortable rooms for 4 adults and two children. Outdoor space was lovely to sit out when the weather was good, great views too.and private parking for cars. So handy for Chester,easy park and ride, the zoo Liverpool,West Kirby, Cheshire Oaks retail.Loved the White Lion with good food ,plenty seating in and out. Definitely recommend the beautiful Old Stables.“

„The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.“

„Not the first time we've stayed here, so obviously a commendation. Needed to be near to the industrial estate for some work. Location is ideal. Philippa made sure everything was ok. Could not think of a morr therapeutic venue. Grounds help unwind.“

„Outstanding property with easy access and great communication beforehand. The place is a joy to stay at set in a beautiful area, well located to amenities, very quiet, no noise or hassle from owners, well equipped internally, good internet, easy parking, comfy bed, great kitchen and bathroom and great value for money. The place is beautiful and a real real gem. I definitely will be back like Arnie once said….“

„This house felt like a real home, was so well equipped, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had everything we needed provided for us, and there was even a bottle of milk in the fridge waiting for us. The beds are really comfortable, as are the sofas, and the bathroom and kitchen are fab! We’re definitely coming back!“

„The chalet was perfect for us very clean. Everything you could possibly need. The location was absolutely beautiful so quiet and the nature around us was fantastic. Would highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again in the future.“

"Wonderful modern hotel in the heart of Liverpool. Awesome staff, big room with nice design. I lived my stay there and would return anytime. Anyway two topics for improvement: The mirror in the bathroom needs a light, I could not shave myself properly and the desk needs a lamp as well. I was unhappy that the window could not be fully opened due safety regulations. As the week was very hot outside the room could not be vented with fresh air. But the hotel provided an electric vent. Thank you for that. "
