„I was traveling from Iowa to Ohio and needed a place for a short sleep. I rolled in around 11:30. They switched me to a larger room so that I could have a non-smoking room. Room was clean, bed was older but was able sleep well. Left early the next morning so I didn’t see much of the area. “

„Nice place to stay. We didn't like that you rent out the pool so it was full of kids and families that were not staying at the hotel. We tried using the pool and hot tub but it was so loud with kids we left. One of the reason we stayed was so we could use the pool and hot tub. Kitchen lady was lovely!! Good breakfast.“

„This place was perfect for our little weekend getaway for a friends wedding. It was only 4 min drive from the wedding venue and easy parking. Great scenery. The place is a little bit outdated but its comfortable and clean, which is the most important. The couple running the place is super nice and accommodating. We brought our 5 month old baby last minute and it was no problem. I would definitely stay again. “

„A comfortable stay, relaxing on the Rock River, with nearby forest preserves to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the three season porch and took advantage of BBQ grill. Be sure the location works for what you want to do, though driving into Rockford is easy. Owner is engaging and made sure we were comfortable; he was readily available if we had questions. “

„Great house in a wonderful neighborhood. Everything was clean and ready for us, a family with 2 kids, one of them a toddler. The only downside is the internet that’s super slow, but you’re not in that house to be on internet all day long. Thank you!“
