We only learned there were other guests in the basement from hearing their activity, then their smoke alarm going off from a cooking incident. The keyed locks on either side of the door gave us some peace of mind for privacy & safety, but it wasn’t ideal and felt a little awkward. But we noticed cigarette burns on the couch and curtains, as well as a large stain of some sort on the couch. Noticed small ants on the floor crawling around. Kitchen sink did not work.
