„We had a fabulous time here! This was a great location. Not only was it close to historic sites, downtown Harper’s Ferry, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the river (as did our dog!). While this is a back unit to the host's home, they were were hospitable, friendly, made an effort to give us privacy and allowed us full use of all the amenities. „Didn’t know what to expect, but regardless I was blown away. The place is VERY well furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay. „The house was spacious and well maintained. My son and I stayed for three nights. There was easily room to accommodate six or more. We had two days of rain, but it didn’t slow us down. We toured Harpers Ferry and did some hiking on the AT. Host provided everything you’d expect. Kitchen utensils, BBQ grill, blankets/bedding, TV, wi-fi, and ALL CLEAN and ready to use. There is a reason the view is in this property’s title. Mountain Top View is way up there.“

„This is a great spot for exploring Gettysburg. It is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also a very short drive to the battlefield. It was very cool staying in a building that was original to the Civil War. You are basically staying in the attic because it is up two flights of stairs. „The house was much nicer than the pictures showed. They are in the process of remodeling and it was actually very nice. The host was unable to access Vrbo so he was not responsive to my messages. Vrbo put me in touch with him and he was on top of it from there. He was a good communicator once I got a hold of him. The place was much better than it looks in the pictures. The only down side was there are not nearly as many beds as listed. “
