„Last weekend we stayed at the Wiveton Bell for two nights. I have to report that the pub has changed hands since we were last there. The room we had was well appointed; a small snug with two easy chairs, coffee table and sideboard ......kettle, coffee machine, magazines etc.... and a separate roomy bedroom with a TV and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space plus a modern ensuite.  We had several issues regarding the room. When we arrived at 4pm we had to wait for it to be serviced.  It was apparent ...

„Delicious generous food and delightful staff“

„The bed was very soft, get near the edge and you'd roll off. Pub signage lit all night so it came through the window. Music from the bar underneath at 6.30 in the morning. All meals overpriced, up about 25% from last year. Breakfast ; must have found the cheapest orange juice , disgusting and no more pots of tea , you have to fill a cup up out of a flask and put in a tea bag, never tasted anything so vile. Apart from that. “

„Rooms are spacious with a comfy bed, decent shower, and a plentiful in room breakfast with a fridge which comes in useful. Staff are very good indeed and evening meals were excellent. Will be returning.“

„Terrible mattress on one of the 3 single beds in my room. Single meaning really narrow. I actually switched beds in the middle of the night, for a better but still far too lumpy mattress for my taste. Staff and owners were great, breakfast was good, but ultimately a pub up on a hill with rather rowdy guests on a friday night. Still: value for money, but I‘ll rather spend a bit more next time.“
