Waters Retreat is a stylish coastal escape in Fort Walton Beach with a private pool and designer touches throughout. Minutes from white-sand beaches, a public boat ramp, and downtown, it’s the perfect home base for boating, beach days, and relaxed coastal living.

This classic single-story home, originally built in the 1960's, has recently undergone extensive renovation. Unwind at this charming home in downtown Ft. Walton Beach, tucked away on a quiet residential street. A short distance to everything downtown and just minutes to multiple water access points and just 2 miles to the beaches.

Contractors & Military Families:
You are close to Hurlburt AFB (15 min), Eglin AFB (15 min), EOD School (25 min) and Duke Field (25 min)

Boaters: There is a public boat ramp for the neighborhood 0.7 miles (approx. a 7 min casual walk) away and you can be on the famous Crab Island Sandbar in 15-20 minutes. There are also multiple spots for launching paddle boards or kayaks.

This clean, bright, & cozy space has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Primary bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom #2 has two twin beds. Bedroom #3 has a queen bed. The second bathroom is off the hall between bedroom #2 and #3 and includes a tub/shower. There is also a queen size pull out bed in the living room. This is the perfect space for kids and families. There is a spacious kitchen, fully equipped with everything you could need to cook and enjoy your stay. A dual Keurig coffee machine is provided with an initial Kcup. However, it also includes the option to brew coffee as well. You can buy more or other flavors at the Publix Grocery Store 5 min away. There is a large dining table that seats 8 plus additional bar seats at the counter. There is a fully fenced backyard.

• Hand Mixer
• Crockpot
• Food Processor

Each bedroom and living room includes a Smart TV. We do not offer cable TV. However, you can log into your entertainment apps such Hulu or Netflix.

** PLEASE NOTE - there is a small step down from the dining room into the living area, a small step down from the kitchen into the laundry area and a step down from dining room into the pantry. **

The pool is swim at your own risk.
The pool also only has a ladder going into it. There are no steps in. Pool is not heated.

This is a STRICT NO-SMOKING PROPERTY. If there is any odor from smoking upon checkout, there will be an additional charge for extra cleaning and neutralizing of the air and furnishings.

Pets

Pet friendly for 'friendly' dogs. When submitting a booking request, please specify how many pets & the breeds. We do not breed restrict; it simply allows us to plan for cleanings in between guests. We typically need to have 24 hours in between bookings with pets so that we can get furniture cleaned. If you have more than 1 pet, please message us and we will usually accommodate but with an additional fee of $50 per pet. Also, your pet must be house broken. If there is any damage due to pet soiling, a pet odor of any kind, or excess hair, then there will be an extra cleaning fee as we will get everything steam cleaned.

A Pet friendly beach is in Navarre/Gulf Breeze. You can also take your dog swimming at the sandy beach access in the neighborhood at the end of Bay Dr SE. Put 45 SE Bay Drive Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 into a GPS and it will take you to the sandy beach.
