Destin Bday Getaway

I came down with my friends to celebrate my birthday and all the other birthdays that have come to pass. Being on vacation with friends in a comfortable home was amazing. We enjoyed our stay. The area was spacious and the bedrooms were inviting. We were in walking distance to the beach and the pool access was great. Area also surrounded by great restaurants too. Not too far from the grocery store. Would highly recommend staying here. Though we didn’t have children during this vacation, it would be a great spot for families with small children too. I wouldn’t mind staying here again if I’m ever down in Destin. Thank you for a great stay. Wish I was here longer!

I'm so glad we found this listing for our girl's trip to Destin! The house matched exactly what was in the pictures. This home was very spacious, clean, and had all of the amenities we needed! Such a cozy home! The location was great! It was a short walk to the beach and anywhere from 5-25 minutes from great restaurants, bars, attractions, excursions, etc. The airport was only about 20 minutes from the house which was extremely convenient. Check in and check out was very smooth. Clear instructions were provided to ensure a seamless check in/out. This listing was accurately portrayed which is so important and goes a long way with potential visitors. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay!

We had the BEST time at island in the sun! The house was perfect and just what we needed, close to the beach, each room had a balcony, clean, easy access/check-in, and came with lots of things to do like books and board games. This is the ultimate beach house if you’re looking for a good quality family trip! :)

Great location and gorgeous property

Absolutely stunning home that is just a 3 minute walk from the beach. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The house has a ton of games and books. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I love the breeze and peacefulness of the 3rd floor birds nest. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be renting again.

Great location and place

We loved how close this place was from the beach! Walking distance. Overall we loved the place, very cozy. My only feedback regarding the house is that you have to purchase paper towels, dishwasher liquids, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. since the property only provides you with a a couple so you have to purchase the rest which is an additional cost on your own, and at the end you end up leaving everything behind that you don’t end up using.

The home is located about a 10 minute walk to a public beach access. It can get a little crowded, but it's still very nice. The home was really well decorated and furnished. It had almost everything we needed. Issues: - As others have mentioned, this isn't a 4 bedroom house. The "fourth" bedroom is basically an open loft on a third floor just big enough for a bunk bed. It's not safe for smaller kids. There's also no privacy. - The cleaners didn't do a great job. There was dog hair everywhere. If you have allergy issues, beware. - As others have mentioned, there are NO COMFORTERS. just a heads up, bring your own. Otherwise, the house was great There was a nice shower and grill outside. Note to owner: You have a couple of bushes/plants next to main walkway entrance that have really big thorns. These have branches that are in the path and present a danger of cutting people. I would suggest you remove and trim back these plants.

Great location and beautiful home

The property was much better in person and 2 of the bathrooms had been updated which was great. However, there were no comforters on the beds, only sheets. We messaged the property manager and never heard back. We bought blankets to take back. The "room" with bunks, is a small open air loft, which was find for our kids, but smaller than what we expected. Also, there is NO hot tub, which was a disappointment. The beach access is very close and everything else was great.

It was falsely advertise. In the caption it clearly say 4 bedroom but when we got there it only 3.

It was a hazard because we have three family that went with us. But when we got there we realize it only three bedroom. The very top have a bunk bed but in order to call it a room it must have a closet. So one of the family have to stay in our room and it was no privacy.

The house was gorgeous! Super clean! 3 masters and a set of bunk beds in the eagles nest. There were private balconies for each bedroom! Large wrap around porch! Pool right across the street! Excellent Vacation! The property is so beautiful inside and outside. Location is definitely a reasonable walking distance to the beach. The house is decorated nicely and equipped for the family, which made it feel like being home. We really loved the wrap around porch and all the individual balconies for the bedrooms. Location, location, location

Less than 5 minute walk to the beach, the community pool is across the street from the driveway and it's a quick drive to the grocery store and shopping areas. The pictures of the house in the listing are a little deceiving but in a good way. Plenty of room throughout the house for our family of 9. This house is well kept, the kitchen is full of utensils, dinnerware and cookware and the multiple outside sitting areas are perfect.

Great family rental

We had an excellent stay here for family vacation June 2019. 6 adults and 2 children stayed here comfortably. I loved that this property was literally right across from the pool and a 1-2 min walk to the beach. The only drawbacks are no ocean view and the upstairs room with the bunk beds doesn’t have a door, so my nephew ended up sleeping in his parents’ room most nights instead. I would still rate this property 5 stars. Very clean and the living room area is super comfortable and great for lounging and game nights. Overall highly recommend this rental.
