„Our stay started with a calamity in that a man in the next room began shouting at a woman on the phone -- and kept on going. He was very loud. We asked for a new room and got it quickly. The staff was excellent in helping us with that. The breakfast was excellent, featuring scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits and waffles (and more). „Located next to the Interstate, which may be about the only positive thing to say. There's nothing else around there, unless you want to visit Annabelle's romantic hideaway. We were given a smoking room although we had expressly asked for a non-smoking room. Hairs on the pillows and in the bathroom, old and worn mattresses guaranteeing an awful night. „I was unaware of the $100 deposit nd was unable to get the room..the only way to avoid the deposit is paying the full price upfront in cash and the lady at the desk was very rude about everything and constantly kept asking if I had a dog as if that was the only thing she was concerned about. „If you are ready to be pampered in the most lovely, historic setting then the Zevely Inn is for you! Our room was cozy and the made-from-stratch breakfasts served by the innkeeper absolutely delicious! And she was delightful, so welcoming and full of stories, but still giving us privacy to soak in every morsel of Old Salem charm in the home owned by Dr. Zevely. We're going back as soon as possible!“

„Every staff member was excellent and extremely helpful in meeting our needs and modeled a sincere caring nature. My wife and I stayed the night before surgery at Forsyth Hospital which was 4 minutes away. My daughter and I spent 3 additional night since we were from out of town. We were in a handicap room and when showering there was a pooling of water outside the shower curtain which made for a fear of falling.
