„The property was nice and we enjoyed the beautiful garden. The location was great too in the New Forest. Staff was very friendly and allowed us to store our bikes in a closed garage. The room we booked did not meet the requirements for a proper hotel room. It was too tiny and neither a chair nor a table would fit in. The bathroom was okay and we had warm water all the time. If you opened the window, there was a constant noise from a ventilation system which was installed right behind the window. ...

„We had a great stay here. The room was quiet and spacious, with plenty of storage plus a table and 2 bucket chairs as well as a dressing table and chair. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was bright with a good sized shower including a rainfall as well as a shower hose. The breakfast was also excellent. The staff were helpful too.“

I was certain that I booked my stay including breakfast but they charged us again at check out. Additionally, i received an online bill before check out that an open payment of 12,95(or similar) was open for the breakfast but at checkout they charged us double that price. „We were not expecting such a great hotel - it is truly a 'New Forest Inn', at breakfast we were treated to a 'walk-by' of New Forest Ponies' - which was fun as they walked very slowly past the 'Inn'. And the breakfast was 'scrumptious'! Food was fabulous, staff were very friendly - and the room was very comfortable and clean - would definitely stay here again - very many thanks - Larisa & Paul Warren-Smith “

„We stayed 3 days in the room with the private terrace and hot tub which could be enjoyed even in the middle of winter. The pub itself was very welcoming with very good lunch and evening meals and an excellent breakfast. Dogs were also made welcome with an outside area exclusively for them, but it is a shame not all dog owners apprecited this and were not responsible for cleaning up after them. If in the summertime should the pub or the very nice large public gardens get crowded all residents ...
