Park the car and walk everywhere on Folly Beach. Small unit (250 sq feet) just blocks to the beach. However, what this place has to offer is location. Its best for solo travelers or couples looking to explore Charleston and hang out on Folly beach. You can walk to the beach in less than 2 minutes and walk to 10+ beach restaurants in less than 3. As close at it is to the beach, shopping, restaurants; the street is very quiet; at night you'll only be able to hear the waves or someone singing/playing guitar in the distance. This unit was exactly as described and perfect for two people. A great location, only a short walk to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. The property was very clean and well kept up. We had a couple of questions at check in and our contact person answered this right away. The only drawback was the tv, it was streaming only. We usually like to have our morning coffee while we watch the news and couldn’t do that. Would definitely book this property again.

Crow's Nest is a tiny, but conveniently-located spot. Be aware that there is no ice and no freezer in the mini-fridge. The interior was clean, but the outside area was very messy, and we kept dragging in debris and needed to sweep inside often. While this accommodation was great for us for 2 nights, the place is too small and too dark for a longer stay with 2 people and a dog but is a great choice for a single.

The Crows Nest is a great little spot that has a super close beach access and is just a couple block walk to Center St. We have been coming to Folly for years and the location is awesome! It is a smaller unit but that did not affect the good time we had. Roger was responsive when we had a question and we had a great time!

Definitely a small space for a single or just a couple trying to get away. If it’s raining during your stay then I suggest not to book as the roof leaks and so there was brown water in different areas of the house like entry or the counter. So hopefully they fix it soon. We also did not like that the home smelled like cigarette(we don’t smoke). We believe it’s because there’s a fan that goes to the outside which is the garage next door. So anytime anyone outside would smoke then it just smelled all around the house. Another thing was that there was still dog hair on the couch. Overall it was really easy to enter and just easy going. Everything else was clean.

Owner responds quickly to any communications, it’s a great location location, saw an Owl in one of the oaks that overhangs the street. Pictures are accurate and a great representation of the rental unit. Definitely no issues with humidity, the owner has fixed any issue you read about in earlier reviews.

It was our first time at Folly beach and this spot was perfect! It was right by a beach access point and downtown. Besides for driving into downtown Charleston we did not need our car at all the full trip. Great place for long walks on the beach and bar crawling.
