„Great little hidden gem between Port Augusta and Quorn. We only stayed one night on our way back to Adelaide and everything else was booked, but to our surprise it was an amazing find. The cabin was clean and tidy, and had everything you need to feel like home. Hamish, the owner, was very welcoming. An added bonus was being able to switch off from devices for one night as phone service was limited. “

„This was exactly what we needed. The cottage is away from main Hawker Area and feels beautifully isolated, yet close. Great space and views to the mountains across mils of bushland. Spectacular clear skies and stars overnight. Cute little puppy and sheep for company. The house is old and compact, but has everything needed. The fridge and washing machine are old but reliable (unlike modern gadgets that have limited lifespans!). Plenty of coffee, lots of utensils. Beds are comfortable enough. Good ...

It was the perfect location for our extended family short holiday.We loved the house and big backyard and the proximity of playground and oval across the road. Although mostly at the house, we did a short bike ride down toward stone hut and the Alligator gorge hike..“

Beautifully set out, extremely comfortable, lovely a cool, on the edge of town away from any potential chaos but only 5 min drive to everything. Great communication from the owner. Super comfy beds, particularly after 2 weeks in a rooftop tent! My 8 yo son loved the tent bed. My favourite bit was the parents retreat/meditation/prayer room off the master bed. Highest recommendation for this property. Loved it. “
