„What a cute and comfortable place to stay. A perfect “home” away from home for sightseeing, hiking and exploring from Jay Cooke State Park up to Grand Portage State Park. Very clean, did some grilling and cooking, but also ate out some. Not so expensive you felt you had to eat there for every meal.Thank you! Hope to be back again sometime.“

„This place is relaxing, clean and comfortable. The sound of rushing water from Crown Creek is nothing short of therapeutic. It's in easy reach of Lake Superior or head the other direction and enjoy the quiet forest. If you plan on grilling, you'll need to bring a portable grill, as the grill is unusable. No tv channels, but who cares.“

„What a fantastic place to stay! The “tent” was large, cozy, and cleaner than most hotel rooms. The heater kept us warm all night. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Amenities such as dishes, first aid supplies, and flashlights were available in our “tent”. Restrooms were spacious with toilet, sink, and shower. Towels were available. There are even some saunas to enjoy. However the best thing is the fact that it is very dog friendly! Our dogs really enjoyed getting to go ...

The weather was perfectly mixed, and topping off a chilly morning walk or a toasty afternoon climb with a sauna and then a beer on the deck was amazing!!
