„What an amazing shower!“

„We held a family reunion with 14 adults and 6 toddlers / infants and this was one of the only places available in the Dallas / Ft Worth metro. If you are looking for a no-frills spot to just hang around the house together, this one is for you. The pool was a hit, but the host does nickle-and-dime you with a charge by the hour for the hot tub (it does get hot quickly). The house is in okay condition, but it could use some improvements. „The place is awesome if you like nature and adventure. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The Zimmermanns are the best hosts you can think of. They will be there in a heartbeat if anything doesn`t work as it should or incase you need anything else.“

„I loved that it was close to so many things (grocery, lots of restaurants), shopping); and the high ceilings. It was also clean. I didn’t like that I had to provide a copy of my driver license front and back BEFORE checking in. “

„We searched for weeks looking for a convenient spot for extended family to stay during our wedding weeding in Weatherford. There is no better spot in the area if you are planning a family reunion, wedding or just need an escape from the hustle & bustle of the big city. Our entire family loved it! The age span is from 8 to 80…everyone found the whole property fun & relaxing. “

„What a nice place to stay!!! The house was beyond charming! The neighborhood, while dated, was quiet, inviting and in a great centralized area for us. The host was excellent to work with. We could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend.“

„Food from prior guest left in fridge. Bed sheets were dirty. Appeared to be seeds of some sort like bird seed. Very odd. “

„We chose this unique place while in town for Memorial Day ceremonies at DFW Military cemetery. Came across it due to its’ different surroundings and the animals especially having a 9 year old with us. It was very relaxing and very enjoyable to interact with the animals. John was a great host and glad we were able to meet him and learn more about the property.Everything was not too far away about 30 minutes or so. Well worth not booking a hotel room.“

„We loved how much we had and our kids enjoyed the open outdoors and gamerooms!! Saturday the weather was warm and they enjoyed the pool for a couple of hours. “

„The view of the lake was wonderful! The house felt secluded, but still close enough to the city to do some fun stuff! the house had everything we needed. The games that were provided were nice. The only very small issue we had was the size of the TV, which I know should not be an issue when you are on the lake, but we still like to snuggle up to watch something late at night on a decent sized TV. But this would not stop us from staying again in the future!“

„Nice, clean upkeep. The game room was fun. Appliances were clean and up to date. Really enjoyed being close to the Stockyards and good restaurants. Enjoyed the jacuzzi! Most definitely returning for a longer pool experience with the warmer weather to come.“

„Home is AMAZING! Area is beautiful! Information you need to know: a very limited amount of towels are provided (maybe 8 towels are there), and there are no toiletries, except for some toilet paper. We had to buy towels after we got there. There are some things that need to be fixed (loose faucet in mid-level bathroom, door knob to the bunk room came off), but overall, I would love to stay there again!!! There is a short walk to the water front. The property line prevents you from accessing the ...

"Located right next to the Water Gardens the hotel is a good starting point to explore Downtown Fort Worth, Sundance Square is only a few minutes away. To the Stockyards it's a 10min drive. Our room was very spacious and clean. However WiFi is only complementary for members which you would not expect for the room rates you pay."
