„The owner was super nice, and met us to give us the code to get in and out of the house. You have anything you could ever need for supplies, there is so many expired items in the cupboards though. There was coffee, creamer, eggs and croissants that were in the fridge looking like they were bought just for us. The bacon and eggs were out of date though. Everything was super clean which we really appreciated but the smell of potpourri and either must or old cigarettes was over powering. My husband ...

„First, NO elevator. If your room is on the second floor you have to carry your luggage up and down. Air conditioning struggled but it was OK. Room itself was nice, large, and comfortable. Not sure about all the rooms however ours had air jets in the bathtub. Not sure I would stay in St. John again however if I did and I decided I would be OK with the stairs I would probably stay here again. Note: they have limited parking.“

„we had a really great stay at this property. The tenants living upstairs were really nice and friendly. The apartment was clean without any issues. I would suggest that the owners leave soap, shampoo, etc. for the tenants as usually travellers don’t think to bring that stuff. Also, we only had one towel each for the week. We could’ve asked for more. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would recommend this Vrbo client.“

"Das Chateau St. John ist ein gutes Mittelklassehotel, das ca. 30 Minuten Fußweg entfernt von Downtown Saint John liegt. Wir waren dort zwei Nächte im Rahmen einer Tour durch den Osten Kanadas. Das Hotel ist verkehrsmäßig gut angebunden und bietet einen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Es gibt ein kostenloses Frühstück. Dabei holt man sich seine scrabled eggs, sowie spezielle Kaffees (Espresso, Capuccino) etc. an einem Tresen ab. Dahinter stand eine an Freundlichkeit nicht zu überbietende Dame, die eine Herzlichkeit versprüht hat, die man selten erlebt. Alleine diese Dame war den Besuch im Hotel wert. Für unseren Zweck - Besichtigung von St. John - war es insgesamt ein sehr gutes Hotel mit einem im Vergleich zu den Downtownhotels vernünftigen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. "
