„My wife and I stayed at the Vault for a family wedding in the area. This is a great place for a 1-2 night stay with unique elements of local history at an affordable rate. Know that there are tenants/guests above and that it is at an intersection corner so there will be someoutside noise. We enjoyed our stay and would come again. “

„We had a great time! House was very nice and clean, host was very responsive and helpful. Lake was beautiful!! Kids had fun on the kayaks and swimming. Beds were comfortable. I like that there were 2 living rooms so the kids could watch what they wanted and we could watch what we wanted. We will be booking this house again “

The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and baths were clean and comfortable. We were close enough to town to walk to restaurants and shops. This is a quiet neighborhood in a small town, but we spent a day in St. Louis, only an hour or so away. And the eclipse, what a bonus! „House and property were awesome! Little hard to find first time in the dark and raining but Brittany talked us right to it. Bring your own hangers. We loved sitting on the back porch watching the wildlife in and around the lake.“

„We loved Black Bear Cabin and would definitely stay again! The place was absolutely spotless and had everything we could need, plus some extra touches like K-cups and creamer for our morning coffee. There are games and books, and the game room has tons of fun things to do. Miranda was very responsive and even had the AC going for us when we arrived on a 90-degree day! We will stay again.“
