„This place was a fantastic little escape to the country for my family and our friends. The space was open and inviting and well stocked with everything we needed for a two night stay. I will say we had to take some extra measures for our two year old to be as least destructive as possible, but then again, is there really any space safe from a chaotic two year old? Regardless, wonderful experience! “

„My two young sons and I had a very nice visit to The Boathouse. The lake is well used but not busy and the water is calm. We spent our time on the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and on land with a fire to warm up the cool summer evenings. The Boathouse is well-kept, comfortable, and charming and the hosts are delightful and generous. The drive into the twin cities is very easy. I would definitely recommend. “

„The property was beautiful inside and out. Lots of spaces for gathering. Made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The lake is so calm and serene. The kitchen works well for a crowd, but could be better stocked and organized. Our family had the best time and would definitely go back!“

„The condo was well equipped for preparing meals , mostly breakfast. The lay out of the condo was very convenient and comfortable, with privacy for family members with different schedules! Also, the amenities were excellent, especially the pool and hot tub. It provided easy access to enter and with plenty of parking available close to the entrance. “

„We walked to trails. We drove a short way to other trails. Downtown was a short drive for eating and shopping. It was so perfectly located. Our stay in Mankato was comfortable and so enjoyable! “

The great grandchildren loved the playroom downstairs.The kitchen had plenty of room to cook our meals and there were plenty of utensils to use. Our only suggestion would be for a large dining table and chairs to sit at comfortably to eat meals together and for playing cards and boardgames in the main kitchen.“
