„Lovely place to stay in a quiet little town. Fireplace was cozy with plenty of firewood, well stocked kitchen with ample delicious breakfast supplies and a complimentary bottle of wine which was actually very good. Everything was spotlessly clean. If you need to contact the host though, use a text message not a message through your booking platform as this was not read.“

„The Lavender House was absolutely amazing. Breaky provisions were more than enough. Great location of you want to hire a bike and ride along the Reisling Trail. A 20 minute walk into Clare if you want to eat out. The night sky was fabulous! Will definitely stay again!“

„Our stay was a very positive one. We just needed communication re booking in process by text, not just email. On the road, I had no access to email and had to get my son to retrieve booking info for us. This was the only problem with the stay - breakfast hamper was excellent!!“

„This cottage has been restored to perfection and was considered a home rather than a house by our family of six who stayed for four nights. The interior could be straight out of a glossy magazine and my Mum (in her 80's) was constantly wowed by the authentic vintage utensils on display. We were fortunate to meet our hosts who were even more charming than their cottage. A leisurely afternoon, with a wine or two or three, watching the delightful AJ sing should be a compulsory component of any ...

„Five friends stayed and we loved the location and easy access to Tanunda and Barossa generally. The house had much more to offer than what we had time to use. The standard was luxury with space to have separation. Clean, well stocked breakfast food. Shower water pressure was a bit variable and a couple of shower heads could be improved. Not a biggie!“
